21 June Flag raising ceremony at the Town Hall commencing at 10.30 am.
21 to 26 June - Dad's Army Marches On at the Grand Theatre.
23 June - Afternoon Tea Dance at the Tower Ballroom. Tickets available from Blackpool Tower.
26 June - Armed Forces Day Family Fun Day at Stanley Park. Features dragon boat races on the lake and an It's A Knock Out event in the athletic arena.

Motorcycle Show, Italian Gardens, Stanley

The Tudor have now gained accreditation with Visit Britain and have been awarded 3 stars. We are so pleased with our achievement and hard work to gain this award.

We have decided to go for accreditation with Visit Britain. We are just waiting for our visit from the assessor who will decide on our Star Rating. Watch this space ........

Restorated Train Tram

The train tram has been restored to its former glory with the aid of a Lottery grant. The tram was in operation over the weekend of 27 and 28 June 2009.

Legends

My husband and I and four fellow hoteliers went to see the Legends Tribute show on Central Pier on Tuesday, 23 June. What a brilliant show! We saw Buddy Holly, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond and Freddie Mercury. If you want an entertaining evening this is the show for you. We were all singing along to the songs and we all thought Freddie Mercury was the best!
